Vi kommer att få besök o föredrag av Karama på Söndag 31/1 18.00 i Vänsterpartiets lokal i FolketsHus i Uddevalla, ett ABF Projekt med samarbetes partners.
Söndag 31/1 kl 18.00 kommer två representanter från Karama organisation i Dheisheh flyktingläger, Betlehem Palestina till Uddevalla
för att träffa så många människor som möjligt och hålla föredrag och samtala om situationen i Palestina och Dheisheh flyktingläger.
Hittills är det inbokat:
– föreläsning onsd kväll 27/1 på Mötesplats ungdom i Ale (ev. i samarbete med Ung vänster-grupp)
– föreläsning torsd kväll 28/1 på Drömverkstan (Nordmarkens fritidsgård) Kungälv (i samarbete med SSU)
– föreläsning lördag kl 13.30 i Mimers hus Kungälv, under folkbildningens dag. (I samarbete med Svenska Palestinakommittén)
– föreläsning söndag 31/1 kl 18.00 på Vänsterpartiets lokal i Folketshus i Uddevalla i samarbete med Vänsterpartiet i Uddevalla.
– de har också eventuellt en föreläsning på Göteborgs universitet månd 1/2
Karama organisation är i ett ganska kritiskt ekonomiskt läge, så alla donationer som kan göras till resa/upphälle, samt organisationen är välkomna.
Dear friends,
In general, the political and living conditions in the West Bank are
deteriorating, and there are a great many people and organizations in the
world who are unaware of this reality. A year after the invasion of Gaza,
people are continueing to die there as a result of violence, and the
people in West Bank are suffering in different ways. The forced
segregation of the two territories has not meant that Israeli aggression
has ignored the West Bank, but rather is proceeding in ways more covert
and institutionalized.
The Karama Organization believes that the present image of the West Bank
needs to be presented and understood by those around the world who are
either friendly or sympathetic to the Palestinian people. This is why
Karama is planning to send two representatives to Europe, one from
Palestine and one from the United States. The dates of their trip are
January 10th to February 21st, and their plans are to meet and discuss
with as many different people and organizations as possible issues of the
Palestinian people in the West Bank.
Topics will include recent developments concerning Fatah and Hamas,
settlement activity (especially around Bethlehem), the ongoing water
crisis, but will focus more on the degrading educational climate,
particularly for refugees.
